Terms and condition
In Order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Management requests your cooperation in observing the following as an agreement between the guest and the hotel.
Please note that by the confirmation of your booking you are agreeing to abide by our guest house policies and procedures as described below.
1. RATES
All room rates and fees are fixed in United States Dollars (USD) and Rwandan Francs (RWF) and include 18% VAT.
Rates may be subject to change at any time without notice.
2. CONFIRMATION POLICY
Reservations will be confirmed only by e-mail after providing proof of payment of full amount of your stay.
Following your requests, you will receive a quotation with a request of payment in the following terms:
- For quotations made within 7 days prior check in date, proof of payment is requested within 24 h from the time quotation has been sent.
- For quotations made before 7 days from check in date, proof of payment is requested within 72 h from the time quotation has been sent.
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation, early departure, and no-show fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly as follows:
- Bookings cancelled at any time will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of total room charges.
- A revision made to a booking in the length of stay or dates of reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change and may also constitute a cancellation.
- In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights.
- In the event of a no-show (i.e. if you neither use nor cancel your reservation), a fee equivalent to the value of the entire stay will be incurred
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE
La Locanda reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters, inclement weather, or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance prior to confirmation and acceptance of terms, conditions, and cancellation policy.
5. COVID-19 UPDATE
In the event that there is a COVID-19 related travel ban, health or quarantine restriction at your point of departure or in Rwanda that restricts you from traveling, La Locanda will provide a credit for a next stay.
6. CHECK IN/OUT
Check-in time is any time between 3 pm and 8 pm. If you arrive earlier, we will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready. If you arrive later than 8 pm you should kindly inform us at least the day before your arrival. La Locanda retain the right to consider your booking a no-show and cancel your booking if you arrive after 8 pm without previous notice.
Check-out is at 11 AM. Please inform the management if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. Extension will be given depending on the availability. A charge of 20 usd/person will be applied for late checkout which are not agree by the management.
7. BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served between 6:00 am and 10:00 am.
8. DINNER
Dinner is served from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm
9. WELLNESS CENTER
Wellness center open at 10:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. Children under 18 years old are not admitted at the wellness center and nudity is forbidden.
10. ROOM CLEANING
The room is cleaned and the bed remade every day. If you wish not cleaning service, please refer to the management.
11. LINEN
Change of towels are included in the rate for guest staying more than three nights every three days.
Extra towels will be provided with a charge of 5 usd/piece.
Change of bed’s linens are included in the rate for guest stay more than 7 nights every seven days.
Extra bed’s linens will be provided with a charge of 5 usd/pieces.
12. LUGGAGE STORAGE
The guest can store luggage in the luggage room for a period up to two days without any charge
13. SHOWER AFTER THE CHECK OUT
If the guest need to have a shower after check out, we can help on that if there is availability of a free room to use. We will provide a towel and soap. The cost will be 5 usd/person
14. LAUNDRY
The service of laundry is operating from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm and it is included in the rate
15. GUEST’S BELONGINGS
Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or going to bed. The Management will not in any way be responsible for any loss / or damage to the Guest’s belongings.
16. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the house property caused by themselves, their children or any person for whom they are responsible.
17. UNREGISTERED VISITORS
To preserve the privacy and safety of our guests and our guest house visitors who are not registered at the guest house are not allowed to enter the propriety if not authorized by the management of the hotel. Please to avoid unpleasant situation ask permission to the manager to invite a visitor. The management of la Locanda reserves all rights to investigate the presence of unauthorized visitors in the propriety including the possibility to request unauthorized people to leave the property.
18. ANIMALS
Guest are not allowed to bring animals on the proprieties without authorization of the management.
19. CHILD
Children under 18 must be accompanied by parents or legal guardian. Alcohol won’t be served to children under 18.
Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. In order to respect the tranquility of all guest, if too much noise or misbehavior of the kids, the stuff take the right to approach the adult in charge in order to maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.
20. SMOKING
Smoking inside the rooms and inside common spaces is forbidden. Smoking within the compound but outside the facilities is allowed.
